Hey Vincent. when I look at this comic it reminds me how you and owe our careers to Larry.

I've said it many times, yes Absolutely.
I owe mine to him and a few others.

You for opening the roads and letting me follow your lead to NYC.
I still remember you drawing and inking this one and me being so fucking jazzed that it was turning out so well.

OH MAN! Awesome Bob! Hot chicks, ugly men, and gore. Leaves nothing to be desired.

Sweet smoke treatment on the exploding car. I just don't know where you pull stuff like that out from. I'm definitely gonna put that in the trick book

Bob, what kind of reference do you use when drawing stuff like this?

Great stuff Bob! I love that style. Do you have any roughs or thumbnails of this kind of stuff to show as well?

Hi Julian,
I'm so happy to you that I can't descrive it neither.

Hey Chris thanks, The inking is Wally Wood inspired!

Hi Kris,
Thanks. Dr.Deth is every guys fantasy. To be a kid with full grown babes and a bike and a 45!

Hi Dustin.
Back in them days we would get models of guns, cars, bikes at hobby shops and use them for reference. Hold 'em up and draw 'em.

We had swipe files too. Those were file cabinets full of pictures ripped from maazines and kept in case we ever need to have some obscure reference. No Google in those days.

Hi Kevin,
Not for this but I havew other stuff. I'm going to be putting only my comic work on this blog and the roughs lie beneath the inks and were erased a long time ago. I will be posting some of mu Conan pencils that were never inked tho'.

wow a new comic blog! These are fantastic. They reminded me,you did a bunch of issues of the nam! After these, I can't wait to see inks you did of that book, I loved those so much they crumbled to dusts as I re read them over and over.I tried to find a reprint TPB or back issues of those ones, no such luck in Canuckistan.

I dig the style very much so I must say. I was trying to figure out if the woman were once men. I might be wrong but by the way their hands and face are shaped, it gives me that idea. I love the short story random moment with random people having situations involving raw mysterious living. I pictured classical drawing illustrations in this particular piece. Marvelous work mann,I Love Good HUmor --Yes**
